Tour of RiskCompass
RiskCompass is one shared risk register for your organisation. Staff assess risks, risk managers approve and monitor them, and the organisation administrator sets up the framework and the method. What you see depends on your role.
The roles
Section titled “The roles”Each role can do everything the role above it in this table can, and more.
| Role | What this role does |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Views the dashboard and the risks they own, and downloads an assessment as PDF or Excel. |
| Assessor | Creates new assessments and edits their own assessments while they are drafts. Submits them for review and records checks. |
| Risk manager | Edits all assessments, approves them, retires them and returns them to draft. Sees the register, the alerts, the measures and Insight, and fills in the registers. |
| Organisation administrator | Sets up RiskCompass: method, context, assessment framework, risk appetite, policy documents and users. Sees the audit log. |
A Viewer or Assessor only sees the risks they own as risk owner in the Assessments list.
